Senior Buyer

MAX £23.25 per hour
Job Requirements/Description

We are looking for a Senior Buyer to work within an existing Procurement Department at an Acute Trust in Merseyside.

Role & Responsibilities;

  • Supporting the Trust in the identification and delivery of a defined procurement portfolio, this will include Trust specific projects or leading on collaborative work streams. 
  • Facilitate and manage projects delivering against agreed timescales and outcomes contributing towards Cost Improvement Plans (CIP).  

Must possess excellent stakeholder management skills, full OJEU tendering experience and the ability to negotiate outcomes that demonstrate value for money, promoting an integrated approach to procurement. Ideally working towards CIPs’ Level 5.

This role will be based on site full time during business hours of 9am - 5pm and is inside IR35. Initial contract of 3 months but likely to extend
