We are seeking 3 clerks to work within a busy Health Records Department to provide an efficient and high quality Health Records service.
The main tasks of the role are below;
- Responsible for accurately tracking the location of case notes on the Patient Access System.
- Responsible for filing of case notes into the Health Records libraries.
- Responsible for prepping outpatient clinics and creating medical records folders for new patients.
- Responsible for the transportation of case notes around the site using all equipment available
-Booking in patients on the outpatient clinics and then completing the disposals at the end of the session
Key skills
Computer literate and good attention to details
Working collaboratively as part of a team or as an individual
Confidence in dealing with professional groups, collaborative approach and good team working
Ability to communicate Informatics matters which may be seen as complicated to non-Informatics staff
Ability to assess, resolve and forward enquiries and to organise own day to day work tasks or activities
This role can be physically demanding with some heavy lifting and the need to be on your feet for the majority of the day.
Work location
This role will be based at the Health Records Departments at the below sites;
3 x North Manchester General Hospital and is to start ASAP on a monthly rolling basis.
