To work closely with the Corporate and Operational teams to provide analytical support to determine future pressures against key deliverables, particularly in relation to the NHS plan and locally commissioned targets.
To lead the analytical work within Divisions to assess capacity and demand for each clinical service, identifying areas of service pressure, undertaking gap analysis and support the production of option appraisals.
To provide detailed analysis in order to model demand, resources and throughput to ensure appropriate balance of provision and to identify variances between supply and demand to facilitate discussions of service change, provision or development.
To lead on all divisional analysis issues relating to the RTT programme and its delivery. Encompassing all work around patient mapping and its implications in terms of activity deliverable and effect upon PbR.
To assist the Division to interpret the available data and provide a judgement on actual performance and the ability to deliver operational plans, using predictive modelling techniques.
To work alongside the Divisional team including HR and Finance to investigate and respond appropriately to queries from internal and external sources in relation to reports provided by the Division.
To provide regular information reports and analysis to members of the Divisional team on key clinical and performance indicators and data quality standards. Support the Trusts corporate information requirements’, ensuring high quality information is supplied within deadlines and is fit for purpose.
To regularly represent the Division in a wide range of forum’s across the organisation.
To be the primary source of informatics expertise available to the Division and provide a balanced corporate viewpoint.
To engage with colleagues from other Divisions and Corporate functions to deliver the Trust’s collective goals.
To provide cover for other Principle Analysts as required. Support the delivery and modernisation of the Information service function within the Trust.
To keep up to date with information practices and policies.
