North Manchester General Hospital (NMGH) has moved from Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (PAT) to Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) on 1st April 2021.
For around 18 months the Information Technology infrastructure and systems will continue to be supplied and supported by PAT under a service level agreement.
The MFT Disaggregation Programme is tasked with moving all NMGH staff and patients onto MFT systems and infrastructure.
We are looking for an information systems architect with experience of working with clinical information systems in the NHS Acute sector to join the programme team and take a lead technical role in designing the disaggregation of each of the systems.
Experience of working with some of the following systems is preferable; CareCentric Graphnet, Dawn-AntiCoag, Practice Navigation, EMIS-Mobile Application, TheatreMan, Cohort, LabCentre Clinisys (Blood Results and Status Updates), GE Centricity (now SECTRA PACS), Image Exchange Portal, GM CRIS and A&E Symphony.
It would also be nice to have previous exposure to some of the following systems; Diamond, PAS-Clinicom (Patient Centre), ePMA (Medchart), ALS, Patientrak, Healthviews, Keystone-EMIS, Service Pro, tQuest, E3 Maternity-Euroking, K2 (Maternity System-Guardian/Athena e-CTG), eRS e-Referrals, Badgernet, EMISWeb and EMIS-Pharmacy(Ascribe).
Candidates who can demonstrate experience of working with acute systems are preferred and experience with systems in this list will be a distinct advantage.
The role will have distinct deliverables to the programme for each system. The initial contract will be three months however it is expected that the architect will work through to the programme end.
Based Remotely however occasionaly Oxford Road Campus.
