We are recruiting for an experienced Account and Business Development Manager.
As the Account Manager you will be will be managing a number of current key accounts looking to develop new business with them as well as actively seeking new commercial sales opportunities across the company's portfolio of services.
On offer for the successful applicant is a basic salary of up to £30,000, plus bonus with an OTE Guide of £40,000 to £60,000 on-site parking, pension scheme, laptop, mobile phone and the opportunity to progress in what is an established and fast-growing business as it continues to expand its service offering and client base.
The Account Manager will be:
* Actively seeking new sales opportunities across the client base which includes Construction, Property Professionals, House Builders, Facilities Management Companies, Environmental Consultants, Public Sector, Social Housing, Utilities, Land Managers, Rail, Retail, Sports, Schools and Education, Leisure and Hospitality and Health Services for the services that the company can provide.
* The main point of contact for several Key Accounts, building and developing strong and long-lasting relationships whilst actively seeking opportunities to develop and grow business.
* Responsible for securing new clients by proactively seeking out and calling potential new prospects to introduce the company and the services to ensure that sales targets are achieved.
* Actively following up leads, referrals and new business opportunities.
* Forecasting and reporting on accounts.
* Liaising and working closely with the Business Development Team to identify and grow opportunities to form a continual new business pipeline.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have:
* Proven experience as both an Account and Business Development Manager. If you have sector experience that would be beneficial as would experience of targeting sales with the client base.
* The ability to communicate and influence key decision makers from a variety of sectors for a variety of services.
* Good IT skills specifically for this role good excel and CRM software experience.
* Experience of delivering client focused solutions to match customers' needs, excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage a portfolio of services across a diverse number of clients.
* Excellent listening and negotiating skills with strong written and verbal communication skills, be committed and hungry to progress within the company, a team player who is positive and able to motivate both themselves and others.
* Strong customer facing presentation and selling skills with a proven record of sales and customer growth
