Job Title: Residential Childcare Team Leader - (with sleep-ins) Location: Macclesfield initially but to then change to Wythenshawe (M23) around September 2021 time Hour: Full time Salary: £21,294 - £24,336 (plus £40 per sleep-in) We are looking to recruit a Residential Childcare Team Leader within a specialist service for children aged between 7-18 years of age with learning / physical disabilities based locally in Macclesfield. This service will be going through a change of location towards September (although a firm date is yet to be confirmed) which will be in Wythenshawe (M23) This is a family owned business who have been providing this type of care for over 30 years, they have an exceptional reputation where all of their services are rated either good or outstanding by OFSTED. The company have maintained that family run ethos are committed to caring for staff as much as the children in their care. We are looking for staff who really stand out, those who have a positive can do attitude, excellent communication skills and a desire to make a difference through outstanding service. The company have 5 children's homes located in the North West and West Midlands, an independent fostering agency and 2 schools for children with learning disabilities and complex needs. We have various roles. The purpose of these jobs is: To contribute to the development of the residential service in a manner that: * Maximises the life chances of the children that are looked after * Ensure safe practices and to lead in the management of the establishment and help it to maintain an environment, in which children and young people are valued, listened to and enabled to develop their potential. Team Leader This is a full time role which will require the successful applicants to undertake "Sleep-in" duties in accordance with the homes rota. The shift patterns are 24 hours with an average of 8 sleep-ins per month. Due to the nature of the compacted hours it would equate to a monthly working rota which resembles 10 days in and 20 days off.
