Domiciliary Care Worker


Job Requirements/Description
A great opportunity to work in care helping people in their own homes in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Worcester. My client is a franchise of a very well established home care provider that covers all over the country. They pride themselves on always providing the best possible care to the people in their own home but they can only do that with the top quality staff they have that are every day on the front line of care. They are getting more and more people wanting support every day and so are expanding....

Due to expansion they are looking for 3x Domiciliary Care Support Workers, you will be:-

* Providing people with emotional and functional care in their own homes - 1 hour minimum in each residence

* Working either full time or part time - The position will start as part time and then move to full time

* Supporting them with medication, assistance with personal care, helping to with feeding them at meal times, and some social activities so they don't get bored

* Working with people around the Stourbridge / Pedmore area in the west midlands


* £11 per hour when providing care in people's homes - part time and full time positions available as well as overnight shifts available if wanted

* Pay increase after 3 month probation period

* 30p mileage paid and assistance to reclaim the rest

* 4 weeks holiday entitlement pro rata

* A flexible work pattern to fit around your life

* Free training and courses available to support you to get up to speed

* Additional hours and overtime available as they get busy over the next few weeks / months

* All the PPE you would need


* You would need to able to pass a DBS check or have a valid DBS check

* Having a uk driving licence and vehicle would be an advantage but isn't essential

* Living in or around the Stourbridge/Pedmore area

* Ideally having experience working as a support worker in some capacity would be great - domiciliary care, live in care, care home support etc or even experience looking after an elderly relatively would be great

* They would also consider people that are new to a carer position as they can provide full training and support
