SEN Service Manager - Plymouth - £500 per day

We are urgently looking for an experienced SEN Service Manager to join a service in Plymouth. Plymouth are offering flexible work (working remotely) as well as weekly accommodation/expense allowance.

The successful SEN Service Manager will be responsible for casework risk-management across the service area, including quality assurance systems and assuring and ratifying the decision-making of managers and social workers in complex cases.

Ensuring services are delivered within delegated budgets and that limited resources are effectively targeted on those most in need.
Taking a whole system approach to managing change, including leading the 4th tier managers in implementing cultural change and modifying service delivery to address shortcomings and secure improvements in performance
Ensuring compliance with corporate processes within the service area, including safer recruitment and information security
Taking lead responsibility for specific project areas or service themes. Ensuring planning, implement service or practice changes and monitoring the outcomes for impact
Actively seeking feedback on service delivery and ensuring all stakeholders, including multi-agency partners and children's young people and carers/parents, are included in planning, and designing service changes
Working collaboratively with partners to address practice issues and themes, taking a systems-based approach to SEND, early help, safeguarding and improving outcomesEssential requirements of this SEN Service Manager role:

Educated to degree level in a relevant related subject (e.g. early years, children, education social work, SEND, nursing, therapies)
Relevant Health, Social Care or Education Qualification or equivalent (e.g. QSW/QTS/paediatric nurse/EYPS)
Appropriate professional body registration (e.g. HCPC, NMC)
Plymouth can be flexible with home working arrangements and part time working as required so please encourage your candidates to consider PCC as a viable option.
