General Practice Manager

My client operates a forward thinking, professional healthcare practice. They have built the practice around providing cost effective high quality treatments for their patients. They take their time to go through treatment options and ensure that their patients, old and young, trust them from beginning to end. They are looking to increase the team with a new and key role; General Practice Manager. This person will ensure the smooth daily operation of the business leaving the qualified healthcare professionals to do their clinical work. The Role: Is to manage the business and support staff in providing a seamless, professional and effective service. Currently this is from one site, however there are big growth plans that include 2 more locations. Working with the business owners and clinical staff towards business goals and offering insight into best practice and efficiencies. *Initially this will be on a part time basis with an expectation that over time will be offered and accepted. As the business grows so will the hours up to full time. Key Duties: § Overall successful execution and completion of all allocated projects. § Manage all employees and clinical staff in line with best HR practice and legal requirements. § Ensure stock management is effective and timely ensuring supply chain is maintained at an optimum level. § Produce monthly KPIs that have been agreed to ensure agreed performance targets are met. § Manage CQC and Cross Infection compliance via audit. § Arrange and monitor training compliance for all employees and clinicians to ensure safe practice. § Liaising with the client and other stakeholders such as suppliers. This may involve travel to project worksites. § Manage and maintain budgets, providing concise reporting to the Practice Principal. § Awareness and adherence to Health, Safety, legal, regulatory and compliance requirements. § Managing complaints patient complaints § Key point of contact for all contractors; suppliers and employees. § Effectively manage Stakeholders and execute communication plan. § Work effectively with others to ensure all interactions and transactions are processed in a timely manner and patients receive effective communication. § Create, lead and co-ordinate the clinical and administrative team(s). § Instill a patient focused culture and a right first time approach ensuring a duty of candour and effective management of any issues arising are dealt with in line with policy and best practice.
