If you do, we want to hear from you as we have exciting Senior Project Scientist roles within our growing Scientific Development team. The Senior Project Scientist utilises their scientific knowledge and data skills to provide support to the management team with technical issues in the laboratory or highlighted within the data. You will offer suggestions and provide solutions to technical problems and seek ways to make the operational team work more efficiently. Main Purpose of job * Reviewing analytical data and worksheets and notifying the Laboratory Manager of any discrepancies or potential product issues. * Production of study protocols, reports and work instructions. * Assist with activities within Operations to execute on sampling and testing plans to meet client study requirements. * Interface with Scientific Affairs and PMO to provide operational input into study design and ensure client requirements can be met. * All personnel involved in the conduct of a GLP regulatory study must be knowledgeable in those parts of the principles of good laboratory practice which are applicable to their involvement in the study. * Comply with the instructions given in test methods/study plans etc. Any deviation from these instructions should be documented and communicated directly to line manager or study director/principal investigator for GLP studies. * All personnel should exercise health precautions to minimise risk to themselves and to ensure the integrity of any regulatory study. They should communicate to the appropriate person any relevant known health or medical condition in order that they can be excluded from operations that may affect the study. Key person specification • Graduate of Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry related subject. • Ideally a minimum of five years' experience working within an analytical laboratory. • Good analytical and technical problem-solving skills. • Confident verbal reasoning skills with colleagues and customers. • Good IT skills. • Results driven, customer focused and commercially astute. • Technical experience of using Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry and a CDS
