Team Manager for District Nursing Band 7 Full time West Lancashire District Nursing Service Are you an experienced and passionate registered nurse who is looking to take the next step in your career to be the Team Manager of our District Nursing team in West Lancashire? As a Team Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to: * Working closely with the service manager to ensure optimal utilisation of community team resources * Robust monitoring of patient dependency * Ensuring appropriate planning and proactive audit measures are in place to monitor performance * To provide clinical leadership * To act as a role model for others exhibiting a high standard of professional behaviour at all times * To prescribe treatment as a prescriber in accordance with Virgin Care policy You will be a registered nurse and have a Specialist Practitioner Qualification (SPQ) and prior experience of leading an efficient and productive team. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and hold a valid driving licence in order to complete all duties within the community. We have built organisation-wide committees in many specialist fields. You'll have the option to join your clinical specialism, networking with professionals from across the country. We get together regularly, auditing and sharing standard methodology for innovation and service re-design. You'll be a part of the pool of subject matter experts bringing together clinical and operational leads. You will be a part of quality improvements, research and development activity.
