The role will be based in Peterborough with some travel to two other hospitals in the locality. One day a week can be worked from home, with the remaining four days on site.
Essential skills include -
*Educated to Master's Degree Level or equivalent
*Work experience in corporate governance in public, private, voluntary or charitable sector
*Demonstrable experience of ability to operate at Board level
Knowledge:
*Current national corporate governance developments
*Governance requirements for an acute hospital
*Regulatory requirements for an acute hospital
*Risk management and Board Assurance Framework requirements
Additionally, candidates need team leadership including ability to develop and coach staff. A compelling and credible communicator with networking and influencing skills. The abilility to analyse complex issues and identify potential solutions, work under pressure and be resilient.
