Job Family: Support & Enablement WorkerLocation: Preston, LancashirePay Rate (£): £ 9.70Vacancy Reference: 027886 Role: Support and Enablement WorkerLocation: Lytham St Anne'sPay Rate: £9.70We are Voyage Care and for over 30 years our priority has been the fulfilment of the lives of people we support.About the Role:Our new specialist supported living service in Lytham St Anne's supports people with a learning disability and/or autism, who may have additional mental health conditions and challenging behaviour. This includes people moving on from long term hospital stays.The aim of the service is to enable people to live a fulfilled life, as independently as possible. You will develop positive, respectful and trusting relationships with the people we support to improve their confidence and self-esteem, incorporating both therapeutic and social based activities.You must be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach, following Positive Behaviour Support plans and understanding the importance of reflective practice to ensure the best outcomes for the person.Whilst no two days are the same, typically you'll enable people to achieve a range of outcomes relating to their personal care, daily living skills, relationships and accessing community activities.Previous experience of working with people with a learning disability and/or autism who display challenging behaviour or have a mental health condition is required.
