2016 All Wrapped Up

As the year draws to a close it is time to reflect on everything that has happened in 2016. There is a song currently doing the rounds on social media where two girls (Spoiler Alert: with quite a lot of bad language) describe some of the most significant events of 2016. So now it is time for us to do the same…

At GoToJobBoard.com it has been a year full of highs and lows; take a look at some of the biggest things to happen to us this year:

JANUARY 2016 - We traveled the country in January visiting the 3 x winners of our 2nd Unsung Hero Award and presenting them with their trophies and prizes.

MARCH 2016 - In March we launched a brand new version of our website to improve user experience and the overall functionality of the site and introduced our new mobile app.

MAY 2016 - GoToJobBoard celebrated our 2nd birthday in style with a lovely meal out and a visit to the Breakout room. (We did not break out L)

JULY 2016 - This was a busy month for us, the NHS celebrated their 68 birthday, we attended the OnRec Trade Conference in London and we ran our very own radio advertisements with Key103 radio station.

OCTOBER 2016 - October was just as busy as we launched our 3rd Unsung Hero Awards, visited several trusts praising non-medical staff, went to the MPA Awards in the prestigious Midland Hotel where we were nominated for best digital campaign for our last Unsung Hero Awards not to mention we joined in with the Academy of Fab NHS Stuff’s Change Day event.

NOVEMBER 2016 - In November we held our very first live event: Get into Work Seminar at Rise Manchester as well as attending the CIPD conference and the Jobg8 European summit in London.

And now here we are in December getting everything ready for 2017. This year has literally shot past and we cannot wait for next year. We have made some key hires this year and employed two experienced Recruiters to join our Client Services Department (Zack and Alex) as well as taking on an experienced Marketing Manager (Tatiana) to handle all our marketing needs.

I’d like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all our partners who have helped us throughout the year; we really appreciate your support. I would also like to thank all the Clients that we have worked with this year. We couldn’t do this without you and we have met so many more businesses this year that want to work with us which is really exciting.

Last but by no means least, thank you to EVERYONE who has visited our site this year, we hope you have enjoyed using it and been able to find that dream job. We have just launched the latest version of the GoToJobBoard site which will help you even more, when job hunting, so be sure to check it out and let us know your thoughts.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the GoToJobBoard team, see you in 2017!
